Lynell lives with her partner and son, two cats, two goldfish, two guppies, two tropical African frogs, a plecostamus and five chickens in the middle of an urban garden and forest on the East Sierra. Her closest waterway is the Truckee, a great source of joy for her family. The watershed is their favorite playground, from sledding to hiking to splashing and turning over rocks. Lynell’s desire is for everyone, everywhere to get outside and be as healthy as they can be. True emotional connection through exploration is the strongest way we become stewards of our environment, and for this, we need to feel healthful. Lynell loves to help others be as healthful and full of vitality as they can be, to shine as a light through the darkness.
“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.” ~ Khalil Gibran
